NEW CLASS: Bone Safe Pilates Mat Classes for Bone Building and FUNctional Fitness (beginner-intermediate level)
This class introduces you to the basics of a bone-safe Pilates Mat Class so you can ease into your movement and build up to the strength training component. This class is safe for persons with osteoporosis or osteopenia. You will exercise with good posture and learn correct alignment, body awareness, breathing and core control with exercises that involve weight-bearing, strengthening and standing balance. Special focus is on postural correction, spine extension, hip extension, fracture prevention and FUNctional fitness! You must be able to get up and down to the mat to participate.
Equipment Needed: Yoga mat, Foam Roller (6″x 36″), 8″ Soft Massage Ball, Small Elastic Tubing, Light to medium resistance theraband.

OUTDOOR CLASS LOCATION. Meets at Sunderman Field’s Covered Sports Complex which is shaded and clean, also known as the Roller Hockey Rink. This is our temporary outdoor location where we
